DJ The Early Bird - alias of Peter Strijdhorst, born in Holland, 1999 - is a Dutch Hardcore DJ specialized in playing Early Rave, Early Hardcore and Early Terror. He's aspired to become a DJ ever since he's entered his first (kids)-disco at the age of about 8. Through the years he developed his skills and during the early 2010s he started DJ'ing and organizing hardstyle parties. Later on his taste shifted more towards early hardcore and gabber music. At the end of 2019, "The Early Bird" won Ruffneck's "Origin of the Core" DJ contest and he got to play a 1,5 hour closing set B2B with Painbringer. This is where things really took off and now he's played at Madness Gabberboot, Team Gabber Events, No Mercy Crew and various other cool parties. His style of music is generally fast beats, hard 909 distorted kicks and sharp juno synths. In other words: Original Hardcore from 1990 to 1999. But Peter is definitely not shy to explore other genres like hardstyle, techno or drum and bass. He's a music lover who's not bound to one style, although "The Early Bird" mainly focusses on early hardcore and gabber music.
